Nuvia Marquez

With El Paso as her hometown, Nuvia has always been passionate about architecture and design. Before fully immersing herself in the architectural profession, she gained valuable experience in sale sand real estate, which not only deepened her understanding of client needs but also strengthened her interpersonal skills. Nuvia later pursued her academic aspirations, earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University, followed by a Master of Architecture, which laid a solid foundation for her career. She moved to Houston to specialize in commercial and healthcare projects, collaborating with leading firms and enhancing her technical expertise. With nearly a decade of experience in architecture, Nuvia has developed a well-rounded skill set in the field. In 2024, Nuvia returned to El Paso as a Project Manager at Root Architects. She is excited to contribute innovative designs to the cities growth and collaborate with the team to shape the future of architecture in her community.
