Rida Asfahani

Rida founded Root Architects in 2010, has over twenty years of experience in the design and construction fields. Throughout the country, Mexico, Europe and the Near East; with an emphasis on historic preservation, sustainable design, and urban revitalization. As a Principal at Root, he is focused onbringing together culture, design and history in an effort to usher El Paso into a new area of great community building. Rida has worked with nationally recognized design firms in Boston and San Antonio before moving to El Paso and is actively involved in the city’s revitalization efforts.
